Description

The Vauxhall 27 Coffee wallpaper is the deepest brown in Carl Robinson’s Edition 23 ‘Linen Palette’: a dark, roasted espresso tone with a faint warmth in the weave, printed with the fine linen texture that defines the Vauxhall design. Up close the warp and weft catch the light in tiny flecks; from a distance the wall reads as a rich, enveloping dark brown that feels far more luxurious than paint.

This is the 27-inch (68.5 cm) residential width on matt Type II vinyl, with a random match for quick hanging and minimal waste. The texture is wipeable and robust enough for corridors and hospitality areas. You can view the lighter browns and neutrals that coordinate with it, such as Toast, Toasted Almond and Coconut Husk, in the full Carl Robinson 23 collection here.

Dark brown walls are having a moment, and the Vauxhall 27 Coffee wallpaper is an easy way to achieve the look with real depth: use it in a dining room, a library, a cigar lounge, a hotel bar or a bedroom headboard wall, and pair it with brass, cream, caramel leather and natural timber. It also makes a dramatic ground for gilt-framed art and for Carl Robinson’s patterned designs used as accents.

Practical notes: Vauxhall Coffee is a 27-inch (68.5 cm) by 9-yard (8.2 m) random-match roll of washable Type II vinyl, covering roughly 5.6 square metres. With a colour this dark, prime or line the wall in a dark tone first and butt the seams tightly so no pale substrate shows; good lighting during hanging helps. The surface wipes clean, which makes it practical for dining rooms and bars. Order every roll from the same batch and ask our Dubai showroom for a sample to check the brown against your timber and metal finishes.
