Description
The Oceane Rose wallpaper is a fine, irregular pinstripe from Wallquest’s Nantucket Stripes Revisited collection: dozens of hairline vertical lines in dusty rose, soft blush and warm cream, varying in width and spacing so the surface reads like a loosely woven ticking or a faded cotton deckchair canvas. It is a stripe that behaves like a texture, quiet enough to run around every wall of a room without ever looking busy.
The colours sit in the warm, powdery end of the pink family, so from a distance the wall reads as a gentle rose-beige with movement rather than a hard stripe. The paper hangs with a straight match and the pale ground hides seams well. You can view the other Oceane colourways, China Blue, Parchment, Amazon, Bone and Cottage Blue, and the rest of the book in the full Stripes Revisited 2 collection.
Use the Oceane Rose wallpaper in a bedroom, a dressing room, a girl’s room, a guest bathroom or a boutique hotel corridor where a soft, warm backdrop is wanted. It pairs with white panelling, pale timber, brass, linen in oatmeal and plaster pink, and it is a natural companion for a Wallquest floral or toile on a single feature wall, picking up the pink in the print without competing with it.
Practical notes: Oceane Rose is a 27-inch (68.5 cm) by 9-yard (8.2 m) paper roll with a straight match and a small repeat, so waste is minimal and each roll covers about 5.6 square metres. Paper-backed stripes should be hung by an experienced decorator over a lining paper, with a plumb line checked on every third drop so the fine lines stay vertical. Order all rolls from one batch and ask our Dubai showroom for a sample to compare against your paintwork and fabrics.
Decor Establishment supplies Wallquest across Dubai, Sharjah and the wider UAE, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain, with showroom samples, batch-matched contract quantities and specification support for residential, hospitality and commercial interiors. Oceane Rose (SR20801) is held by the roll in our Dubai showroom.
