Description
The Hudson Silk wallpaper is a natural grasscloth stripe from Wallquest’s Nantucket Stripes Revisited collection: fine hand-woven grass fibres laid horizontally across a paper backing are dyed in a soft pale grey-green and subtly banded into wide tonal stripes, so the wall shimmers like raw silk. Silk is the coolest, most silvery colourway in the Hudson group, a quiet pewter-grey with a hint of sage.
As a genuine natural product each roll varies slightly in tone and texture, and visible seams are part of the handcrafted character; the 34-inch (86 cm) width reduces the number of joins. Natural shading between rolls and visible seams are inherent to grasscloth and should be expected, so reverse-hanging alternate drops is often advised.
