Description

The Vauxhall 54 Navy wallpaper is a deep, inky navy blue linen plain from Carl Robinson’s Edition 23 ‘Linen Palette’, supplied in the 54-inch (137 cm) contract width. The navy is dark and saturated, but the woven linen texture of the Vauxhall design lifts it with tiny lighter flecks so that the wall feels like upholstered cloth rather than a block of colour.

The 54-inch roll is the specification choice for hotels, restaurants and large residences: half the seams of the 27-inch width, quicker to hang on long runs and produced as a heavier Type II commercial vinyl that is scrubbable and hard-wearing. You can view the matching 27-inch version (CL90102) and the other blues, Midnight Blue, Ocean Deep and Hudson Bay among them, in the full Carl Robinson 23 collection here.

Navy walls give a room instant gravitas. Use the Vauxhall 54 Navy wallpaper in a hotel bar, a boardroom, a restaurant private dining room or a master bedroom, and pair it with brass, white marble, caramel leather and pale oak. It is also the ideal plain to run alongside Carl Robinson’s patterned designs on a feature wall, picking up the navy in a nautical or plaid print.

Practical notes: Vauxhall Navy in the 54-inch (137 cm) contract width is a random-match Type II vinyl estimated by the linear yard; because it is dark, a tinted primer or dark-faced liner prevents any white flash at the seams, and installation by a commercial hanger with heavy-duty adhesive is recommended. It wipes clean to hospitality standards, which suits bars and restaurants. For multi-room projects tell our Dubai team the total area and we will allocate bolts from a single batch to keep the navy consistent throughout.
